Automata 6: Final Project

About the Workshop

This module will guide you through the process of creating a complex Automata incorporating different types of mechanisms. It is part of our Full Online Automata course (which you can sign up for separately if you want to attend all of the modules). At the first session of this three-part module, you will learn the basic techniques. Between sessions you will construct prototypes and the final project, which you will present at the final session. Each session will be 2 hours and will meet on Zoom from 7-9 p.m. Central European Time. During the first half hour of the second session, students can ask questions about the progress of their projects and share ideas with each other. All sessions will be recorded in case someone is not able to attend live. The course will be taught by Mirek Trejtnar, expert woodcarver, toy-maker and automata builder. You will get regular consultations at this highly individualized course. You will also see the work of fellow students throughout the course. FOR WHOM IS THE WORKSHOP INTENDED? CANCELLATION POLICY The fee is nonrefundable. If you cancel a more than 1 month before the start of the workshop, you can transfer the fee to another PIP workshop. If for any reason PIP needs to cancel the course, you will get a full refund.
