What is it that distinguishes Czech puppetry from other European countries? Learn about leading Czech artists who designed puppets and took the genre in completely new directions. We will start out by looking at the connection between Baroque sculpture and marionettes, explore the influence of the avant garde in the 1920s and 30s, and look at how puppeteers today are redefining the genre.
