Our puppet trip to Plzen

We had a magical day in Plzen, a city that takes puppets so seriously that there are sculptures of the iconic Spejbl and Hurvinek marionettes on their main square. And you thought Plzen was only famous for their beer!

After a show about dinosaurs in the world famous Alfa Puppet Theatre, we visited puppeteer Vladimir Sosna. He shared the magic of every crook and cranny in his home and workshop.

And finally we visited the Puppet Museum on the main square of Plzen to see the historical roots of this strong tradition.
